Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site. This statement sets out the standard we work to, what has been checked so far, the limitations we know about, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Draft — to be reviewed before launch
The standard we work to
The target for this site is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is built mobile-first from a 320 pixel viewport, uses semantic HTML, a single visible focus style, 16 pixel form text, native form controls and native disclosure elements for menus and FAQs, so it works without JavaScript and with assistive technology.
What has been checked
- Keyboard-only navigation: a skip link, a visible focus ring on every control, and no keyboard traps.
- Colour contrast of text, controls and status badges in both the light and dark themes; status is never shown by colour alone.
- Forms: every control has a visible label, helper text and errors are linked to the control, and an error summary is announced on submit.
- Reduced motion: animation is limited to small transforms and is switched off when the system asks for reduced motion.
- Text resizing and reflow up to 400 percent without loss of content.
Checks so far are our own, automated and manual, during development. An independent audit has not yet been carried out; when it has, this statement will say so and link to the results.
Known limitations
- Files attached to an enquiry or uploaded by clients are shown as the client supplied them and may not be accessible.
- Some screenshots of software packages are placeholders labelled "Concept demo" and carry descriptive alt text rather than a full text alternative.
- Third-party payment pages, reached when paying an invoice online, are provided by the payment provider and are outside our control.
Reporting a problem
If you find a barrier, or need information from this site in another format, tell us through the contact form or by email to hello@devagency.co.uk. Describe the page and what went wrong, and the assistive technology you were using if any. We will respond and aim to fix the barrier or offer an alternative.
