Boutique hotel booking package

A website and booking engine for hotels that sell a story: editorial room pages with booking inside them, packages that bundle dinner and spa time with the stay, stay vouchers, incentives for booking direct and messaging in the hotel's own voice.

Readiness: Custom build Concept demo

Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Design-led and luxury independent hotels, country houses and town-house hotels with roughly eight to forty rooms whose guests choose them for the place rather than the price, and who sell packages, dinners and vouchers alongside rooms. Daily users are reservations, who build and sell packages and answer guests by name; the front desk, who check in against a reservation that already lists the dinner and the treatment; the restaurant and spa managers, who see the components coming their way; the owner, who writes the stories and sets the incentives; and guests who read, book and arrive already looked after.

Not the right fit

It is not for larger hotels that sell by rate plan and allocation block to groups and corporate accounts, which the hotel package covers, nor for guesthouses where the owner confirms each booking personally. A hotel that wants a property management system replaced should look at a custom build instead.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

Nine in the morning.

  1. The reservations lead opens the day: twelve arrivals, four of them on the Autumn Table package, which includes dinner tonight and a treatment tomorrow.

  2. Each reservation already lists its components, so the restaurant manager saw the four tables on her list when she arrived, and the spa manager has the four slots marked.

  3. A guest reading the Orchard Room story on her phone books it for a Friday in November; because she booked on the hotel's own site, the direct-booking incentive the owner set for that season, a late checkout and a welcome drink, attaches itself to the reservation and appears in her confirmation.

At eleven a man buys a two-night stay voucher online for his parents; a code is issued, the value sits as unredeemed in the voucher ledger, and when his parents book in spring the code settles the balance and the ledger moves.

  1. A couple on last weekend's package receive their post-stay message with a review request and a note from the owner.

  2. At two the restaurant tells reservations that Saturday's second sitting is full, and the package builder stops offering Saturday dinner on new package sales for that night.

  3. At four the front desk checks in a guest whose pre-arrival sequence asked about pillow preference and dietary needs three days ago; the answers are on the reservation.

  4. Housekeeping's turnaround list shows which rooms are staying over and which turn tomorrow.

  5. At the end of the day the owner sees direct bookings against third-party ones, packages sold by name and voucher value outstanding.

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

Runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code and your data in both cases. Guest profiles, reservations, vouchers, content and messaging history can be exported at any time in standard formats, and nothing in the package stops a move to another provider.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and scoped separately from the build. When taken, it covers security updates, monitoring of payment callbacks, voucher sales, messaging sequences and any restaurant, spa or property system link, backups, and a monthly window for small changes such as a new seasonal package, an incentive change or a fresh room story. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

Sold as a one-off setup and customisation with optional monthly maintenance and hosting as separate recurring lines. The setup figure depends on the number of rooms and packages, the editorial content to be designed and loaded, voucher handling, which add-ons are selected, whether restaurant, spa or property systems are linked, the payment provider and the data migrated. The proposal itemises each line so recurring costs are never hidden in the build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the hotel booking package?

The hotel package is built around rate plans, allocation blocks and corporate accounts for properties that sell volume. This package is built around story-led pages, experience packages, vouchers and incentives for properties that sell a place and an experience. Both share the same room-type and availability model underneath.

What happens to a package if the restaurant is full that night?

The restaurant manager flags the night as full and the package builder stops offering dinner on that date for new sales. Existing packages keep their components. Where the restaurant system is linked live, the check happens at the moment of booking instead.

How are vouchers tracked?

Each voucher carries a code, a value or a named stay, an expiry you set and a redemption history. Reservations look a code up, apply it to a booking and the ledger of outstanding value updates, so a voucher cannot be redeemed twice.

Can we keep our property management system?

Yes. The package can run as the direct-booking channel beside it, with availability exchanged through calendar feeds in the base scope. A deeper two-way exchange is custom work scoped once we have seen what the system permits, through custom boutique hotel development.

Do we write the room stories or do you?

Either. The package provides the editorial templates; the owner can write and publish directly, or writing and photography briefs are included in the setup as a priced line in the proposal.

Is this a finished product I can see running?

Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: the package is a custom build assembled from our availability, orders, vouchers and messaging modules for each hotel, and the room story page shown here is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client system.
