Cleaning company package

Scheduling for cleaning companies built on the recurring visit: patterns generate the week, the regular cleaner stays unless the roster says otherwise, checklists are ticked on site and commercial clients see their visit log.

Readiness: Custom build Concept demo

Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Domestic and commercial cleaning companies from a two-person business with forty regular customers up to a firm with fifty cleaners, supervisors and a dozen commercial contracts with evening visits. It suits managers who build the week from patterns rather than bookings, supervisors who inspect and score against a checklist, cleaners who want their week, the keys they hold and the checklist on their phone, and commercial clients who want to see that the visit happened and how it was scored.

Not the right fit

It is not for on-demand cleaning marketplaces matching independent cleaners to households, which the cleaning bookings platform covers, nor for specialist one-off services such as carpet or window cleaning where every job is quoted and scheduled individually; those businesses are closer to the other trade packages. Franchise networks with many operators and central billing need a multi-operator model scoped separately.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

The manager opens the week view on Monday at half past seven.

  1. Each cleaner is a row and the visits generated from customer patterns sit along it with travel buffers between properties.

  2. One cleaner has rung in ill.

  3. The manager marks her absent and the system lists her six visits for the week with a cover proposal for each: cleaners free in that window, in that area, with the skill the property needs, and whether they already hold the key.

  4. For the flat on the high street the cover does not have the key, so the manager records a handover from the office key box and the customer receives a message saying who is coming today.

At the property the cover cleaner opens the checklist for a two-bedroom flat, works through it and photographs the oven because the client asked for that item to be evidenced.

  1. The visit closes with the hours recorded.

  2. That evening the supervisor inspects a commercial office with three sites on one contract, scores the checklist and notes a missed kitchen surface; the client sees the visit log and the score in their login the next morning, with the follow-up visit already noted.

  3. A domestic customer skips next week from the link in her reminder; the rules allow one skip a month without charge and the freed slot is offered to a customer on the waiting list for that area.

  4. At the end of the month the manager runs the invoices from visits completed, checks supplies issued to each site against stock, and exports the hours to payroll.

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

The package runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code and the data in both cases. Customers, patterns, visits, checklists, inspections, contracts and invoices can be exported in standard formats at any time, and access notes and key records are limited to the roles you grant.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and agreed separately from the set-up. It covers security updates to the platform and dependencies, monitoring of visit generation, reminders and payment callbacks, backups with a tested restore, and a monthly window for small changes such as a new checklist item or a changed skip rule. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

The package is priced as a one-off set-up and customisation with optional recurring hosting and maintenance. The set-up figure depends on the number of cleaners and sites, whether inspections, contracts and supplies are included, the volume of patterns to import, the payment and messaging providers connected and whether you host it yourself. Each line is listed separately in the proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens when a cleaner is off sick?

The manager marks the absence and each affected visit shows cover proposals ranked by availability, area, skill and key access. Accepting a proposal reassigns the visit, records any key handover needed and, if enabled, tells the customer who is coming.

Can customers see the completed checklist?

Yes, if you enable it per customer or per contract. Domestic customers see the ticked items and any photos; commercial clients see the visit log and inspection scores for their sites.

How are skips charged?

According to the rules you set: a notice period, how many skips are free in a period and whether later skips are charged. The package applies the rule and shows the customer the outcome before they confirm.

Does it handle evening commercial shifts?

Yes. Rosters carry evening and weekend hours, and commercial sites can have a visit window outside office hours with the access method recorded against the site.

Can it export hours to payroll?

Recorded visit hours per cleaner export in a standard format for your payroll provider. A direct connection to a specific payroll system is custom work through the cleaning company software development service.

Is this a finished product with a live demo?

Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: a custom build assembled from our booking, capacity, forms and order modules for each company, and the example screen is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client system.
