Dispatch, verification and registers for locksmiths: the dispatcher sees who is free and where, the engineer cannot start an entry job without recording the identity check, and every commercial door and key is on a register you can search.
Locksmith businesses from a single van doing daytime lock changes and the occasional lock-out up to a firm with six or eight mobile engineers, a dispatcher on the phones and a book of commercial clients with registers and contracts. It suits owners who want the identity check written down every time, dispatchers who need to see at a glance who is free and nearest, engineers who want the job, the register and the price list on their phone, and facilities managers who want to know which key opens which door.
Not the right fit
It is not for online key-cutting or security product retailers, which the shop packages cover, nor for alarm and CCTV installers running monitored systems with signalling contracts, which need a monitoring model. Businesses that mostly fit access control on construction projects in phases will find the renovation business package closer to how they work.
The operational problem it solves
How it runs, step by step
The dispatcher has the map open at six in the evening.
Two engineers are on jobs, one is free in the north of the area and one has gone off shift.
A call comes in: a tenant locked out of a flat.
The dispatcher creates the job from the price list category for a non-destructive entry, and the system offers it to the free engineer, who accepts from his phone and sets an estimated arrival.
The tenant receives a message with the engineer's first name, the estimate and the call-out wording the owner wrote.
At the door the engineer opens the job and the verification record comes first: he records the documents seen, the relationship the tenant declares to the property and, as this firm's procedure requires, a photograph of the tenancy agreement page.
Only when the record is saved can he mark the job in progress.
He gains entry, fits a replacement cylinder from van stock, takes a photo of the new lock and the tenant pays by card on his phone; the invoice is sent before he is back in the van.
The following morning the dispatcher opens a commercial client's register for a scheduled visit: an office with fourteen doors on a suited system, each cylinder and key holder listed.
The engineer adds the two new keys cut and who they were issued to, and the maintenance contract records the visit against this quarter.
At month end the owner reviews contracts due for renewal and the week's verification records in one list.

The package runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code and the data either way. Jobs, verification records, registers, contracts and invoices can be exported in standard formats at any time. Verification records and registers are limited to the roles you grant, and access to them is logged.
Maintenance
Maintenance is optional and agreed separately from the set-up. It covers security updates to the platform and dependencies, monitoring of dispatch messages, map services and payment callbacks, backups with a tested restore, and a monthly window for small changes such as a revised price category or a new engineer. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.
Pricing model
Priced per proposal.
The package is priced as a one-off set-up and customisation with optional recurring hosting and maintenance. The set-up figure depends on the number of engineers, whether live dispatch is included, the verification fields and photo capture your procedure needs, the number of commercial clients with registers, the mapping, messaging and payment providers connected and whether you host it yourself. The proposal lists each line separately.
Prefer a fully custom build?
Locksmith website development
Custom dispatch, verification, key register and contract systems for locksmiths running mobile engineers on emergency entry and commercial security work.
Can an engineer skip the verification record on a quick job?
Not on an entry job. The owner marks which job categories require verification, and for those the job cannot move to in progress until the record is saved. Lock changes for an existing customer at their own registered address can be set not to require it.
Who sets the arrival estimate the customer sees?
The engineer, from the van, when accepting the job, and they can update it. It is the business's own estimate from its own dispatch; the package does not promise response times to customers on your behalf.
How are price list figures handled?
Every figure is entered by the owner per job category and can include day, evening and bank holiday variants. Engineers quote from the list on their phone and the owner can allow or prevent manual adjustments.
Can a property manager see registers across several buildings?
In the package a commercial client sees the registers for their own sites. A property manager view across many buildings owned by different landlords is custom work scoped through the locksmith website development service.
Does it work when the engineer has no signal?
The job details and the verification record are kept on the phone and sent when a connection returns; the dispatcher sees the last known status until then.
Is this a finished product with a live demo?
Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: a custom build assembled from our dispatch, forms and document modules for each locksmith, and the example screen is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client system.
