A ready-to-configure marketplace where owners build a profile per pet, search carers by service and distance, book a meet-and-greet, pay into a held balance, follow visits through photo updates and release the payment at the end, while carers manage availability and prices and your team watches documents, disputes and payouts.
Pet sitting and walking platforms from a founder with a few dozen local carers to a regional operator with several hundred, and dog day-care or home-boarding networks that want owners to book and pay online. It suits an operator who wants bookings, documents and money in one place, a support person who handles cancellations and incidents, carers who manage their calendar, prices and updates from a phone, and owners who want to see who is looking after their animal and hear from them during the day.
Not the right fit
It is not for a single walker or boarder wanting their own booking site, nor for kennels, catteries and grooming salons that run their own premises; those have packages in animal services. It does not hold veterinary records beyond what the owner supplies, and it is not a general marketplace where carers quote for jobs; prices are set on the profile and bookings happen without a quote step.
The operational problem it solves
How it runs, step by step
Sunday evening.
An owner going away for a week searches for a home boarder within five miles for a spaniel.
Results show carers with boarding on their service list, their price per night for a medium dog, home details, how many dogs they host at once, reviews from completed stays and which documents are recorded with dates.
She books a meet-and-greet with one for Tuesday.
The boarder sees the spaniel's profile first: vaccinations with dates, a note about fireworks and the vet's number.
After the meeting both tap accept, and the stay is booked for the following Monday with the payment captured and held.
Monday of the stay.
The owner drops the dog off; the boarder checks in on the app and the owner gets a notification.
Each morning and evening the boarder gets a prompt and sends a photo with a line of notes, which appear on a timeline the owner can open from the beach.
Midweek the operator's dashboard shows one boarder across the network who missed yesterday's prompts; support sends a nudge from the dashboard.
On Thursday a different owner cancels a dog walk for Friday inside the window; the policy for walks applies automatically, the carer keeps the share the operator set and the rest is refunded from the held balance.
On Sunday the spaniel goes home, the boarder checks out, the owner confirms and is asked for a review, and the held payment is released: commission to the platform, the rest into the boarder's next payout.
On Monday support has one dispute open about a drop-in visit the owner says did not happen, and the check-in time and the photo from that visit are already on the record.

The package runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; owners and carers use the mobile web version and your team uses a browser. You own the code and your data in either case. Carer records, pet profiles, bookings, visit timelines with photos, messages and payout history can be exported at any time in standard formats, and nothing stops you moving the platform to another provider.
Maintenance
Maintenance is optional and scoped separately. When taken, it covers security updates, monitoring of booking confirmations, update notifications, photo storage, payment holds and payout runs, backups, and a monthly window for small changes such as a new service or a changed cancellation window. Larger changes, such as group walks, are quoted as change requests against the original scope.
Pricing model
Priced per proposal.
Sold as a one-off setup and customisation with optional monthly maintenance and hosting as separate recurring lines. The setup figure depends on which services launch, the document and check workflow, the payment provider, the add-ons chosen and how many carer, owner and pet records are migrated. The commission your platform takes from bookings and the payouts to carers are your own commercial model, run through your payment provider and unrelated to what you pay us. Each line is itemised in the proposal so recurring costs are never hidden in the setup.

Pet care marketplace development
Custom pet sitting and walking marketplaces: carer onboarding with recorded checks, pet profiles with vet details, services and per-pet pricing set by carers, meet-and-greets, bookings with held payments, photo visit updates, cancellation rules, commission and payouts.
Yes, per service and per pet size, within bands the operator sets. Owners see the price before booking and the booking total is fixed when the payment is captured, so a later price change by the carer does not affect it.
Is the meet-and-greet compulsory?
That is your setting, per service. When it is on, an owner cannot book a first stay or walk with a carer until a meet-and-greet has been booked and both sides have accepted afterwards; repeat bookings with the same carer skip it.
How do the visit updates work?
The carer checks in at the start of a visit or stay and sends photos and notes that appear on a timeline for the owner, with a notification each time. With the prompt add-on, the operator sets times when a carer is nudged and can see who missed a prompt.
What does the owner see about a carer's documents?
Each document by type and the date it was recorded, with whether it was supplied by the carer or returned by a connected check provider. The package shows what is on record; it does not state that the carer has been verified or is suitable.
When is the carer paid?
The owner pays at booking into a held balance. When the booking is completed and confirmed, commission is retained and the carer share goes into the next payout run on the schedule you set, with a statement per period.
Is this a finished product I can see running?
Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: the package is a custom build assembled from our bookings, multi-vendor, messaging and orders modules for each operator, and the screen on this page is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client platform. Anything beyond the listed options is scoped as custom pet care marketplace development.
