Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Tattoo and piercing studios from a two-artist shop up to a studio with six or more residents, regular guest artists and a front-of-house team. Daily users are artists who want their enquiries, projects and sessions on their phone, front of house who triage the queue, take deposits and run consent at the desk, the studio manager who onboards guests and watches deposits held, and clients who send references, pay deposits and track their project online.

Not the right fit

It is not for a studio doing only walk-in flash with no custom work, where a simple queue would do, and it does not try to be a design tool, an online shop or an accounting system.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

Ten o'clock.

  1. Front of house opens the enquiry queue: four new enquiries overnight, each with reference images, placement and size.

  2. Two are tagged fine-line and go to Mara; one is a cover-up and goes to Jon; one is a walk-in flash request and is offered the next free station slot.

  3. Mara opens hers on her phone between clients, replies with a consultation slot from her own diary, and the client books it from the message.

  4. At the consultation Mara records size, placement and an estimate of three sessions; the project record is created and the deposit request goes to the client.

The client pays online and the deposit shows as held against session three on every session of the project.

  1. Before session one, the client confirms age and signs the consent form on the studio tablet; it is stored with the project.

  2. After each session the aftercare message goes out automatically that evening.

  3. In week three a guest artist starts a fortnight: the manager has set the residency dates, her station, her deposit rules and her split, so her diary is open online only for those dates.

  4. At close the owner sees deposits held per artist, sessions this week, enquiries waiting over two days and which projects are at their final session.

Features

What the package does

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

Runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code and your data, including design files, reference uploads and consent records, which can be exported at any time in standard formats. Nothing in the package stops a move to another provider.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and scoped separately from the build. When taken, it covers security updates, monitoring of the enquiry form, aftercare messages and payment callbacks, backups of design files and records, and a monthly window for small changes such as a new artist, a residency or a consent wording change. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

Sold as a one-off setup and customisation with optional monthly maintenance and hosting as separate recurring lines. The setup figure depends on the number of artists and stations, whether guest residencies are included, deposit and split rules, consent requirements, the payment provider and how many open projects are migrated. The proposal states each line separately so recurring costs are never hidden in the build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does an enquiry reach the right artist?

The client picks styles or an artist on the form; the studio's routing rules send it to a matching artist, or to the queue for front of house to assign. Anything unanswered past the time you set is flagged to the manager.

What happens if a client reschedules one session of a project?

Only that session moves. The project, the deposit and the other sessions are untouched, and the artist and client both see the updated order of sessions on the project page.

Can a deposit be held against the first session instead?

Yes. The default is the final session, but the manager can set per artist or per project whether it is applied to the first session, the last, or spread across them.

How do guest artists work?

The manager creates a residency with dates, a station, deposit rules and a split. The guest gets a login that only works for those dates, clients can book them online during the residency, and the guest's projects and deposits are reported separately.

Is consent signed online or in the studio?

Either, as your policy dictates. Age verification and consent can be completed on the client's phone ahead of the first session or on the studio tablet at the desk, and the signed form is stored with the project.

Is this a finished product I can see running?

Not yet. The readiness badge on this page shows the real state: the package is a custom build assembled from our enquiry, booking, orders and forms modules for each studio, and the project record above is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client system. Needs beyond the listed options go through custom tattoo studio development.
