Readiness: Custom build Concept demo

Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Advertising, branding, design and marketing agencies from a six-person studio to around fifty people with a dedicated new-business lead. It suits the partner who wants the work page to look like the pitch deck, the new-business lead who wants every brief captured the same way, the marketing manager who adds campaigns and press, and the hiring manager who wants applications with reels in one place.

Also worth knowing

It is less suited to media buying agencies whose core is campaign reporting dashboards, and to freelancers and solo designers, who have their own portfolio package. Agencies that need several work indexes per discipline, more than one enquiry route or department-level review of applications should start with the custom service.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

The marketing manager opens the work library on Monday after a campaign has launched.

  1. A new case study is created with the brief, the idea and the outcome in three fields, the hero film embedded from the hosting account, cut-downs added as supporting media and the channels tagged as film, social and out-of-home.

  2. The account director has already recorded on the permission record that the client can be named but the logo is not to be used until the campaign has run for a month.

  3. The case study publishes, the client list page gains the name without a logo, and the logo appears on its own in a month.

On Wednesday a brief arrives through intake: a drinks brand, considering social and out-of-home, launch in spring, a budget band the agency pitches at, a decision by committee, and the brief document uploaded.

  1. The new-business lead sees it on the pipeline as new, reads the brief in the platform, sets the status to chemistry meeting and adds a note.

  2. A second enquiry from a one-person start-up asking for a logo is politely declined from the same screen and the decline is recorded.

  3. The creative director opens the careers module, where the senior art director role has nine applications with reel links, shortlists three and the acknowledgement emails go out automatically.

  4. A trade magazine piece on the campaign is added to press with its link and date.

Features

What the package does

The package is arranged as modules that follow how an agency shows work and wins it: campaigns and permissions, capabilities and team, brief intake and pipeline, careers, and press. Each module below lists what it does; the comparison table shows which package variant includes it.

Content and editorial

  • Campaign case studiesEach campaign has a case study setting out the brief, the idea, the outcome and the credits.
  • Video and motion embedsEmbed campaign films from a hosting provider with poster frames, so pages load before the video does.
  • Channel, discipline and sector filtersTag each piece of work by channel, discipline and sector, and let visitors filter the work index.
  • Capabilities and team pagesSet out what the agency does and who does it, including a page on team and culture.
  • Press listKeep a list of coverage and features, maintained from the admin area.
  • Insights or journal publishingPublish agency insights as articles from the admin area.

Compliance and records

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

The package runs on your hosting or on hosting we manage, as recorded in the proposal and changeable later. You own the code and your content in either case. Case studies, media references, enquiry records, briefs and applications can be exported in standard formats at any time, and the platform can be moved to another provider.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and scoped separately. When taken, it covers security updates to the platform and its dependencies, monitoring of enquiry and application notifications, backups of content and uploaded briefs, and a monthly window for small configuration changes such as a new channel tag, a changed intake question or a new vacancy form field. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

The package is sold as a one-off setup and customisation with optional monthly maintenance and hosting as separate lines. The setup figure depends on the number of campaigns to load, the video hosting arrangement, the add-ons chosen and whether you host it yourself. Recurring lines are stated separately in the proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can we show a campaign without naming the client?

Yes. The permission record sets whether the client is named and whether the logo appears. Where naming is not allowed, the case study shows a sector description and the campaign is left off the client list page.

What does brief intake ask?

Sector, channels under consideration, timeline, budget band, how decisions are made and a brief document upload, with the options set by you. The answers appear on the pipeline card so briefs can be compared at a glance.

Can we remove a case study quickly if a client asks?

Yes. Changing the permission record to withdrawn unpublishes the case study, removes the client from the list page and leaves a redirect so old links do not break. The change and who made it are recorded.

Do hiring managers see all applications?

A hiring manager sees the applications for the vacancies they own. Partners see everything. Department-level review with separate hiring managers per team is standard; routing by rules into an external applicant tracking system is custom work.

Is this a finished product I can see running?

Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: the package is a custom build assembled from our portfolio, content and forms modules for each agency, and the example on this page is a labelled concept demo rather than a live agency site.

We want a different work page per team. Is that in the package?

Not as standard. Separate work indexes per discipline, several enquiry routes and department-specific application handling are custom work covered by the custom advertising agency website service.
