Development showcase package

A development website where the sales team keeps plot status, house types and specification live, buyers register interest and book sales suite appointments, and phase launches reach the people who asked, ready to configure around your scheme.

Readiness: Custom build Concept demo

Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Developers and house builders marketing one or a small number of developments at a time, from a twelve-plot infill scheme to a phased estate of a few hundred homes, including off-plan apartment schemes sold from a marketing suite. Daily users are the sales adviser at the suite who changes plot status and books appointments, the marketing coordinator who releases phases, posts progress updates and uploads brochures, the sales manager who watches registrations and appointment conversion per house type, and the prospective buyer browsing the site plan on a phone before deciding whether to visit.

Also worth knowing

It is less suited to estate agents marketing resale stock, which needs a register with a lifecycle per instruction and portal feeds, and to developers who want online reservation payments or post-reservation choices and extras ordering, both of which need custom work.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

The sales adviser opens the plot matrix at the suite on Saturday morning.

  1. Phase two shows fourteen plots: nine available, three reserved this week, two exchanged.

  2. A couple arrive who registered online for three-bedroom house types; she opens their registration, sees the two plots they clicked on the site plan and walks them to the show home.

  3. They reserve plot 42 at the desk.

  4. She marks it reserved, the site plan updates immediately and the buyer who was browsing it at home sees it change to reserved rather than ringing on Monday to be let down.

The marketing coordinator is preparing the phase three launch for Thursday.

  1. The plots are already in the system as withheld with their house types and floor plans attached; she sets the release date, and the launch notification is queued to the two hundred registrants who asked for phase three or for the house types in it, with the sales suite's appointment slots for launch weekend linked in the message.

  2. Appointments come in against the advisers' rota, so no slot is offered on the day the suite is closed for a viewing event.

  3. She posts a progress update with photographs of the roof trusses going on at phase two, which appears on the site and in the next monthly digest.

  4. On Monday the sales manager reads the report: registrations by house type, appointments booked against the launch, and which plots were clicked most but never asked about, which tells her where the pricing conversation needs to happen.

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

The package runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code, the content and your register either way. Registrations, appointment history, plot status history and uploaded documents can be exported at any time in standard formats, and nothing in the package stops you moving it to another provider when the scheme completes or the next one begins.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and scoped separately from the build. When taken, it covers security updates to the platform and its dependencies, monitoring of notification sends and any status imports, backups, and a monthly window for small configuration changes such as a new house type, an amended status colour or a revised brochure. Adding a new development on the shared template is quoted as its own piece of work unless the multi-development add-on was taken.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

The package is sold as a one-off setup and customisation for the first development with optional monthly maintenance and hosting as separate recurring lines. The setup figure depends on the number of plots and house types, the add-ons selected, the quality of the site plan source material, whether plot status is imported and whether you host it yourself. Additional developments are priced per scheme on the shared template. Your proposal states each line separately so recurring costs are never hidden in the build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is the interactive site plan produced?

From your architect's site plan drawing. During setup we trace each plot as a clickable region and bind it to the plot record, so status colours and the detail panel come from the data rather than from an edited image. Later phases are added the same way.

Who updates plot status, and how quickly does the site change?

The sales adviser changes status from the suite on a tablet and the site plan reflects it as soon as the page is next loaded. With the import add-on, status also arrives on a schedule from your sales system export, and the manual change wins until the next import confirms it.

Can buyers reserve or pay online?

No. Reservations and fees remain with your sales team in the suite, so the package never handles buyer money. The buyer books an appointment, reserves in person and sees the plot change to reserved on the plan.

How do launch notifications work?

Registrants pick house types and phases when they register. When a phase is released, a notification goes to everyone whose preferences match, and the send log shows who received it. People who registered for a different phase are not emailed about this one unless the coordinator chooses to include them.

Can the site feed new-homes listings to portals?

With the feed add-on, available plots are published in the standard new-homes feed format to the portals you name, each configured and tested during setup. The portals control when and how a listing appears; the package shows you what was sent.

Is this a finished product I can see running?

Not yet. The readiness badge on this page shows the real state: the package is currently a custom build assembled from our content, forms, bookings and documents modules for each developer, and the example screen is a labelled concept demo rather than a live client site. Requirements outside the listed options go through custom property development website development.
