Jobs, test reports and certificates for electrical contractors: the circuit schedule is completed at the board on a tablet, the certificate takes the next number in your sequence, and every landlord sees what is due across their properties.
Electrical contractors from a sole trader doing domestic reactive work and a handful of inspections up to a firm with ten electricians serving landlords, letting agents and small commercial clients. It suits owners who want certificates found by address rather than by searching email, office staff who book inspections by area and chase the monthly landlord invoices, electricians who would rather fill the schedule at the board than retype it at night, and landlords who want one login showing every property.
Not the right fit
It is not for electrical wholesalers selling online, which the shop packages cover, nor for large mechanical and electrical contractors running multi-year commercial projects with formal valuation and retention, which need a construction project model. Contractors whose work is mostly design-led fit-outs with client approvals will find the renovation business package closer.
The operational problem it solves
How it runs, step by step
The office starts the morning on the inspections list.
One letting agent has four flats due this month; the office books them into Thursday for the electrician who covers that area, with travel buffers between the addresses, and the agent sees the four appointments appear in their portal.
A website request has arrived overnight: photos of a scorched socket and the property details.
The office quotes a first-hour charge from the price list, the customer approves it online, and it drops into Tuesday's column.
On Thursday the electrician opens the first flat on his tablet, works through the circuit schedule one row per circuit at the consumer unit, attaches photographs of the board and records the observations.
He completes the report; the certificate takes the next number in the firm's sequence, is filed against the flat and appears in the agent's portal with the next due date set from the interval the owner configured.
The same afternoon a rewire reaches the end of first fix: the electrician records the cable and back boxes used, marks the phase complete, and the office raises the first fix invoice from the materials and the phase price agreed in the quote.
At month end the agent receives one invoice for the four inspections, and the owner looks at a list of inspections due next month before anyone has to ring anybody.

The package runs on your own hosting or on hosting we manage; the choice is made in the proposal and can change later. You own the code, the templates and the data in both cases. Customers, properties, reports, certificates, landlord accounts and invoices can be exported in standard formats at any time, and the certificate archive is yours to take with you if you move the system elsewhere.
Maintenance
Maintenance is optional and agreed separately from the set-up. It covers security updates to the platform and dependencies, monitoring of reminders, certificate delivery and payment callbacks, backups with a tested restore, and a monthly window for small changes such as an amended report template, a new electrician or a changed inspection interval. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.
Pricing model
Priced per proposal.
The package is priced as a one-off set-up and customisation with optional recurring hosting and maintenance. The set-up figure depends on the number of electricians, the number of report and certificate templates laid out, whether landlord accounts and phases are included, the volume of certificate history to import, the providers connected and whether you host it yourself. Each line is listed separately in the proposal.
Prefer a fully custom build?
Electrician website development
Custom job, test report, certificate and landlord portfolio systems for electrical contractors, from a sole trader to a firm running installation projects in phases.
Can the circuit schedule be filled in without a signal?
The report form keeps what has been entered on the tablet and sends it when a connection returns, so a basement board or a rural property does not lose the schedule. The certificate number is assigned when the report reaches the server.
How is certificate numbering controlled?
The owner sets the prefix and the starting number at set-up, usually continuing the current paper sequence. Each certificate takes the next number when issued and the number is never reused, even if the certificate is later superseded by a corrected one.
Does the package check our scheme registration or qualifications?
No. Registration and qualification details printed on certificates are entered as supplied by you. The package records and prints them and makes no check, and we make no claim about them.
Can a letting agent see several landlords' properties?
Yes. A landlord account can hold properties for one owner or for an agent managing many, with the invoice addressed to whichever party you set per property or per account.
How are phased installations invoiced?
The quote for a larger job is split into phases with a price each. When the electrician marks a phase complete, the office raises that phase's invoice including the materials recorded against it, and the customer approves and pays online.
Does it take payments itself?
Payments run through a card payment provider connected at set-up. The package records deposits, phase payments, invoice payments and refunds against the job and the customer or landlord account.
Is this a finished product with a live demo?
Not yet. The readiness badge shows the real state: a custom build assembled from our request, scheduling, forms and document modules for each contractor, and the example screen is a labelled concept demo. Work beyond the package is scoped through the electrician website development service.
