Readiness: Custom build Concept demo

Who it is for

Built for

A good fit

Dietitians, nutritionists and weight-management clinics from a solo practitioner selling three-session bundles to a clinic of several practitioners running one-to-one programmes and group courses. It suits practitioners who want the week between sessions to be visible, assistants who handle bookings and payments without seeing clinical content, and clients who would rather log a meal from their phone than photograph a notebook.

Not the right fit

It is not for practices that want automated nutritional analysis or a recipe database; the practitioner writes plans and the package issues them. Nor is it for one-to-one therapy practices with recurring weekly slots, which the therapy practice package handles.

The operational problem it solves

How it runs, step by step

The dietitian opens the practice view on Monday morning.

  1. Three clients submitted food diaries over the weekend from their phones; each entry sits against the client with a timestamp and the dietitian skims them before the first follow-up at ten.

  2. The ten o'clock client is on week six of a twelve-week programme bought as a bundle; the session is drawn down from the bundle automatically and the progress chart shows six weekly weights and waist measurements the client entered at home, with the line going the way they hoped.

During the session the dietitian revises the meal plan.

  1. The new version is issued through the system, the old one is marked superseded, and the client sees only the current plan on their phone.

  2. A diary prompt is scheduled for Wednesday and Sunday.

  3. At midday the assistant sells a new programme to an enquirer who telephoned: the bundle is paid online, the initial consultation is booked, and the intake questionnaire goes out.

  4. The assistant sees the booking and the payment, never the diaries or the plan.

At four the Thursday evening group course reaches its cap of twelve; the next enquirer is offered the following term. The dietitian ends the day by attaching a GP referral letter to a new client's record so it is there when the discharge summary is due.

Ownership, maintenance and pricing

After the build

Deployment and ownership

The package runs on hosting the practice chooses or on hosting we manage, and the practice owns the code and the data either way. Client records, programme history, diary entries, measurements, meal plan versions and the audit log can be exported in standard formats at any time. Stored data is encrypted at rest, clinical content is limited to practitioner roles, and the retention schedule agreed at set-up is applied by the system.

Maintenance

Maintenance is optional and agreed separately from the set-up. It covers security updates to the platform and dependencies, monitoring of reminders, diary prompts and payment callbacks, backups with a tested restore, and a monthly window for small changes such as a new programme or measurement type. Larger changes are quoted as change requests.

Pricing model

Priced per proposal.

The package is priced as a one-off set-up and customisation with optional recurring hosting and maintenance lines. The set-up figure depends on the number of practitioners, the programmes to configure, the add-ons chosen, whether clinical information is stored and the security scope therefore applies, the payment and video providers connected, and whether you host it yourself. Each line is shown separately in the proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can clients buy a programme online without speaking to us?

Yes, when the practice enables it per programme. The bundle is paid through the payment provider connected at set-up, the initial consultation is booked from the practitioner's availability and the intake questionnaire is sent automatically.

What happens to old meal plan versions?

They are kept against the client as superseded versions visible to the practitioner, so the history of what was issued is complete. The client sees only the current plan.

Can the assistant see food diaries?

No. The assistant role sees bookings, payments and whether a submission was made, not its content. Diaries, measurements and plans are visible to practitioner roles only, and every access is written to the audit log.

Does it analyse what the client ate?

No. It records what the client submitted and shows it to the practitioner. There is no nutritional analysis and the package offers no advice.

Can it produce a report for the referring GP?

With the referral record add-on, a discharge summary is assembled from the referral, the measurement history and the final plan for the practitioner to review and send. Pulling in data from an external clinical system is custom work covered on the dietitian website development service page.

Is this a finished product?

Not yet. The readiness badge on this page shows the real state: it is a custom build assembled from our programme, submission and document modules for each practice, and the example screen is a labelled concept demo rather than a live system.
