Monday, nine in the morning.
A shipper logs in and posts a load: six standard pallets, two tonnes, collection from an industrial estate on Wednesday between eight and midday, delivery to a distribution centre on Thursday before ten, tail-lift needed, no stacking.
The platform works out the lane and notifies carriers whose profile covers that area and whose vehicle list includes a tail-lift.
Two carriers quote within the hour, each with a price and a validity period of forty-eight hours; a third asks a question through the load thread about pallet height and quotes after the answer.
The shipper compares the quotes with each carrier's rating and completed-job count, accepts one, and the other quotes close automatically.
